Order of The Golden Dawn
Year 824, Elevenmonth, Day 26 – Skyday
An interesting development has befallen us. As we were resting, we were found by a group of three hobgoblins, two of whom were carrying a cage holding a Litorian named Webster. At the end of the battle, the uninjured guard moved to To’Gar and began to demand that he use some healing item to heal the injured guards. We tried to reason with him, but the two ended up attacking one another. Another of the guards threatened to kill Wolfram if we didn’t cooperate. As I ran over to him, he slashed Wolfram across the neck. Bryte took down the guard attacking To’Gar as I tripped and tied the one that slashed Wolfram. Luckily, To’Gar used his wand to heal him and he seems fine, although he has not yet spoken since the incident. We allowed the semi-injured guard who had taken no action against us to go back to the city while we disarmed the other three and locked them into the alcove.
Webster has decided to travel with us after Bryte explained what was going on. After that, we continued down the tunnel and found another cavern that held lumber, longswords, shields, armor, and rope. It almost seems as though someone were planning on using these tunnels to invade the city. To’Gar took a log, for some reason. Who can understand the mind of that Dracha? Bryte and I had an interesting exchange as well. I apologized for alienating him from the Queen of the Sea, and he told me it was fine, but he sounded quite irritated. I thanked him for following my lead in the battle with the guards and he told me it was my time to shine and said not to disappoint him. I explained that I had no intention of disappointing him and turned my attention back to the tunnel. After that…he smacked me…on the rear! Then had the nerve to smile at me in his sly way. How dare he embarrass me in front of everyone in such a way!
