Order of The Golden Dawn
We were attacked in the night, and Vanessa almost got killed. Cassy rather rudely woke me up with a kick to my temple. While the others tended to Vanessa after the fight, I distracted myself with the magical longsword. Although I had reached for my bastard sword at the beginning of the fight, the longsword was suddenly in my hand. I didn’t have much time to think of how it got there, so I just used it. When I swung though, I felt clumsy, like I’d never held a sword in my life. I couldn’t land a single blow. After the fight, the sword disappeared from my hand and reappeared next to my bedroll. I got a large rock and placed it over the sword, as a little experiment. A little while later, Vanessa was up and good as new. Perhaps To’Gar used his wand again.
It was oddly warm that day, compared to the cold night. I had a talk with Vanessa and apparently she’s keeping a journal as well, and both her parents are dead. She seemed pretty nice, but she gave me a few odd looks, especially when I was expressing my anger over all the trouble Cassy has caused me. It made me think she knew something I didn’t. Before we could talk more, a pair of giant Owls appeared and started attacking. Once again, the longsword appeared in my hand and I felt clumsy using it. I took my Bastard sword with my other hand and used it instead. It was odd using it, but I faired better with it than the longsword. Bryte found eggs that belonged to the pair of giant Owls, apparently they’re worth alot. Vanessa seemed very discouraged that we had no way of taking them with us. I tried giving my longsword off. Eventually Vanessa took it and placed it aside in her backpack. I felt a bit bad about it.
