Order of The Golden Dawn
I entered the town of Kaervek Port during the night. As I walked through town, I heard a slight fluttering noise. Feeling paranoid at the odd sound, I ducked into an alleyway and drew my sword. A feminine voice yelled out from around the corner, asking me if I was responsible for the disappearance of the children. Before I could answer, I heard another voice yell out from near me, saying “Yes”. As I looked around, I noticed a small figure hovering in the sky outlined by the full moon. I grabbed a nearby crate to throw at it, but before I could, a woman ran around the corner! Although the was beautiful, she had an odd chain-like weapon. She stopped about 10 feet from me and demanded that I go quietly. Although I would have liked the fight, I didn’t think it was the right time, and complied. As I did, I felt something rush by me and club me on the head. I noticed the spryte was gone. The blow gave me a nasty headache and a scar, but wasn’t too bad. The city guards came, relieved me of my sword, and arrested me. I was taken to see Marcus Arond, chancellor of Kaervek Port, who immediately knew I was innocent of the crime. He gave me a choice, apparently the same one he had given several others. I could help find the 100 missing children, or I could go to the gallows for the crime. The choice was obvious. I was placed in a very unclean cell later, along with several others, the human Wolfram, the Dracha To’gar, the human Bryte, and the spryte Cassy. Of note though, is Vanessa, the woman the odd weapon. Cassy all but admitted to trying to frame me earlier, and is probably also the reason for my pounding headache. I really don’t think I’ll be getting along with her. She told me that she’ll resist framing me since we’re working together. I told her I’d try to resist ripping her wings off. She threatened me back, then fluttered off.
